Multi-Filament Polypropylene (MFP) solid braid rope has long been a favorite among horse handlers, so much so that ist is commonly called "Derby Rope." Lighter in weight and lower in price than nylon and polyester ropes, MFP rope also has high resistance to rot and moisture, is low-stretch, holds knots well, has a high-tensile strength, and is machine washable. SGT KNOTS Solid Braid Rope / Derby Rope is also manufactured in a manner that keeps it free from any potentially hazardous chemicals and dyes, making this rope perfectly safe for use around livestock and other animals. Derby Rope's soft feel is another factor that has made it a favorite rope in ranches and farms, on boats, and around the house. MFP solid braid rope is also used in many decorative purposes, and is used by film and theatre technicians for a variety of on-set and backstage tasks. You'll get years of regular use out of this all-purpose utility rope, no matter what your roping needs may be. SGT KNOTS MFP Solid Braid Rope / Derby Rope is available in widths of 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 1/2", and 5/8", in lengths of 10', 25', 50', and 100'. LENGTH / WIDTH / COLOR - Choose between pre-cut lengths of 10 feet, 25 feet, 50 feet, 100 feet, 200 feet, or 250 feet.
