Tough enough to stand on dirt rocky level terrain and not tear, feels nice to the touch , not loud like a tarp, (No tie in point under the pouch. )The rope tarp holds my 80 m rope flaked out inside well. The loops on the corner ties to one end of the rope. Overall its quality nylon for the price. The only thing that would make this 5 stars would be 2 or 3 straps that would hold it closed when rolled up.So, I originally bought this with the intention of stuffing rope in the pocket, then burrito-ing it, but the issue with that plan is that both of the loops for holding the ends of the rope are outside of the pocket, so if you do that, parts of the rope either need to be exposed on the end of the burrito, or will slip out of the middle of the burrito. It does the trick!I like the pocket for keeping things together when it's rolled up. I like how the tie-offs are interior. It's good for keeping multiple ropes separated in one deployment bag or duffle. One tarp for each rope. It's well made.
